Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Cinco de Mayo Cup soccer tournament (“Tournament”). By registering for and participating in the Tournament, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not participate in the Tournament.
1. Eligibility The Tournament is open to soccer teams of all ages and skill levels, subject to any age or division restrictions specified by the organizers. Each team must comply with all eligibility requirements and deadlines set forth by the organizers.
2. Registration Teams must register for the Tournament by the specified deadline and pay any applicable registration fees. Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the refund policy provided by the organizers.
3. Rules and Regulations All teams and participants must abide by the rules and regulations of the Tournament as set forth by the organizers. These rules may include but are not limited to game format, player eligibility, substitution rules, and code of conduct. Failure to comply with the rules may result in disqualification from the Tournament.
4. Waiver and Release By participating in the Tournament, each team and participant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, and affiliated entities, as well as their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or injuries arising out of or in connection with the Tournament.
5. Code of Conduct All participants, including players, coaches, and spectators, must conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and respect the rules, officials, opponents, and facilities. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive by the organizers may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to expulsion from the Tournament.
6. Liability The organizers, sponsors, and affiliated entities shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or damage arising out of or in connection with the Tournament, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of income. Participants assume all risks associated with their participation in the Tournament.
7. Photography and Media By participating in the Tournament, you grant the organizers the right to use your name, likeness, and photographs or videos of your team for promotional purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media, and marketing materials.
8. Cancellation or Postponement The organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Tournament in whole or in part for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, registration fees may be refunded at the discretion of the organizers.
9. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
